Perspectives is excited to introduce our newest feature, “200 Word Micro Debates.”

Each debate will spotlight two professionals with opposing viewpoints on a given marketing or business-related topic or questions.  Participants will have up to 200 words to make their case, with no opportunity to see the opposing argument before it’s published. Readers will then be able to vote and leave comments before a winner is declared.

INTERESTED IN DEBATING? SIGN ON NOW!

We’re looking for some fresh voices to help us kick off our 200 Word Debates. We’re currently scheduling the following topics:

MARKETING AND BRANDING

  • Can Marketing Agencies That Don’t Regularly Promote Themselves Online Really Call Themselves Social Media Experts?
  • Is Social Networking More About Networking or Marketing?
  • With the Growth of Social Media, Do Corporate Brands Still Matter?
  • Should Companies Increase Marketing Budgets in a Down Economy?
  • Who Should Control Social Media – Marketing or PR Agencies?

POLITICS

  • Is Obamacare good for America?
  • Is global warming for real, or is it overblown?
  • Has President Obama fumbled the ball on Afghanistan
  • Has the stimulus package helped or hurt the economy?
  • Should gay marriage be legalized?

If you’ve got something to say and want your voice to be heard, send an email to jmiletsky@getperspectives.com, and mention which topic you want to debate and which side you want to take!
