Linda is a brand marketing expert with over 20 years of experience leading global luxury brands in the US including Montblanc, Longines, Baume & Mericer and Simmons Jewelry Co.
Linda has a keen understanding of how product, distribution and marketing must work seamlessly together in launching branded communication and delivering brand promise to consumers, ultimately driving sales and profit for the company.
Today’s luxury brands must have an immediate response to e-retailing, digital media and meaningful social media continuity plans. She is a believer in the power of PR in launching brands and the critical role of Customer Relationship Management in cultivating long term, satisfied customers.
In 2006, Linda had the unique experience of traveling to South Africa and Botswana with a dedicated group of professional jewelry executives, including philanthropist and entrepreneur Russell Simmons. As a result of this life-altering trip, the “Green Bracelet” by Simmons Jewelry Co. was created, and a new cause was initiated called the “Diamond Empowerment Fund”. To date, almost $1 million from the sales of the Green Bracelet has been raised for the CIDA institute in South Africa, a college where African teens can attend, work jobs and then go back to teach in their villages. She continues to work with the Diamond Empowerment Fund on new product concepts and out reach initiatives.
Her private life is as packed with excitement and challenges. Linda and her husband Michael have 3 young children 11, 9 and 7. They recently added Simba and Jasmine, 2 adopted cats, to their family. Offline she enjoys entertaining, cooking, biking, and attending her children’s sports activities.
